Runningwell Equestrian Centre – Owned by Ruth and Ian Dowie since 1999 is a BHS approved yard for Lessons, Training and Examinations as well as a BHS approved Livery Yard.
Also approved by ABRS and Clubmark Accredited.

We offer Student Training for
NVQ Level 2 in Horse Care & BHS Exams
Days & Hours worked
- 5 days per week including 1 weekend day and 1 late session
- Students receive £95 per week training wage
- Total of 40 hours per week on the yard
Details of training
- Regular monitoring and assessing by our own qualified assessors.
- Chance to take you BHS Examinations at Runningwell during your course.
- Cleaner in three times per week* Cost £30 per week
- Extra hours are available to students who wish to earn extra, paid at N.M.W.
- Our Cafeteria is open six days per week serving a wide variety of home cooked meals
